Windows 10: Win 11 - Cant type in Search on the Taskbar or in Start, and weird looking fonts/text in...

Hi.Few problems that cought me today:1. Since today Im having weird problems with Windows 11.When I press "Win" key, so the Start will open -> but typing letters only highlights the apps that are inside the Start like pressing E will highlight the Edge instead of searching in the upper bar -> also when Pressing the "Search for apps, settings and documents" in the Start menu- > it just closes the Start and do nothing.2. When pressing on the Search button next to the Start button on the Taskbar -> it wont respond there's a "thinking" sign next to the cursor but thats it.3. All

Unable to type text in any of start (search func)

• As mentioned in title, I was unable to type in the start (press start > press any key to search)
• Unable to type wifi password too (but can paste) > essentially the wifi passcode textbox that popups up from taskbar
• I have tried many well-known antiviruses, malwarebytes etc. but none could solve the issue
• I have also tried powershell scripts to fix but it doesn't work either:
  
  

 

Edge and Skype show text in weird font


Hi,

When I search in Edge, Bing shows results in weird Font. Same is when I start Skype - my username is in the same weird font. Please, please help. I attach some screenshots.

Please try to run this utility:

System File Checker is a utility in Windows 10 that checks for problems with files on your computer. To run it, follow these steps:

Make sure you've installed the latest updates for Windows 10, and then restart your machine. To find out more, read Update Windows 10.

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Command Prompt, and right-click or press and hold Command Prompt (Desktop app) from the list of results. Select Run as administrator, and then select Yes.

2. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (note the space before each "/"), and then press Enter. (Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete.)

3. After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully," type sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter.

4. After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit.

If the steps above does not solve the issue please try to restore default font, please see steps below:

1. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts\Font settings

2. Click the Restore default font settings button.

3. Please check if the default fonts are now back.
