Windows 10: Win 11 pro beta

I have zero idea if mine was a one case or there are many more out there. Here's what happened, about 5ish pm ext, , my computer started doing weird stuff. It's a fresh build, all the hardware specs are were and are as they should be. But slowly, i started noticing i couldn't d/l a program, the only answer was NO, same as installing a program, NO, even deleting files, NO. It got to the point and not even being able to format a usb to worse case reset...I spent prob 4 hours all together in chat on MS, last night, and neither of us came to a possibility. Updating Win 11 to pro from a disabled PC

It was bought separately as Win 7 and then updated to 10. If I go back to Win 10 OEM, could I update that to pro and then upgrade to Win 11? They are both listed in my Microsoft account.

Windows 11 Pro Upgrade from Windows 10 Pro Edition

No but after it installed the malfunctioning Windows 11 upgrade it was listed as Windows 11 Pro. Microsoft Windows support advised I reinstall Windows 10 Pro and said that Windows 11 is really only meant for new PC's that come with it preinstalled. MSI website doesn't list my 2020 GT76 Titan dt-039 notebook on their Windows 11 upgrade eligibility list so I guess that's why the Windows 11 Pro upgrade failed. I suggest being careful with trying the Windows 11 upgrade despite it stating my notebook was capable of running Windows 11 it was wrong. Luckily I have the original Windows 10 Pro USB Flash drive because the Windows 11 Pro upgrade was so incomplete I had no way of reverting notebook back to Windows 10 without reinstalling from a USB Flash.

 

If i have win 10 pro and i upgrade to win 11 will i be upgraded to win 11 pro or home?

pretty much the title. I currently have win 10 pro and am curious if i will get upgraded to win 11 pro for free or just win 11 home.
