Windows 10: Win 11 Sysprep

I am working on creating a deployable win11 image for clonezilla. I have Syspreped/ generalized the image, and am currently testing it on a new computer. I keep having to login with a live/outlook account on first startup. Instead of just being promoted to login with the local admin account. This is a domain environment. Is it possible to disable this when using Syspreped.

Win 10 Sysprep error

I tried to do sysprep on win 10 professional but show error as "SYSPRP Package Microsoft.BingNews_4.11.156.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe was installed for a user, but not provisioned for all users. This package will not function properly in the sysprep image" in
setupact.log file. I tried to do the steps according to the KB2769827 using powershell with local administrator account but it cannot remove the apps package. Please help.

 

Windows 10 1709 sysprep fail

Hi,

I had the same problem, checked the logs and they basically said Windows was unable to remove the Miracast app.

Tried multiple suggestions, nothing worked until I found this:

Failed to sysprep and capture Windows 10 Fall Creators 1709

Basically Microsoft have pushed out their 1709 image without the Miracast app installed, to fix:

• Copy the C:\Windows\MiracastView folder from a working 1703 build into the C:\Windows directory on the 1709 machine
• Restart and then run sysprep

Sysprep should then run successfully!
