    The sound is really bad since updating to 1903. I have a Realtek "high definition audio" onboard.


    As if Realtek wasn't bad enough before.


    There no updated drivers available.

    Win 10 1803 to 1903 update

    My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1903 a while back, but my Desktop running Win 10 version 1803

    I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1903 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

    Good surround sound headset

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Win 1903 update: sounds like **** :p

    I'm Stefano an Independent Advisor, here to help you.

    I suggest you to follow this steps once upgraded to Windows 1903:

    1. Press WINDOWS + X

    2. Click on "Device Manager"

    3. Click on "Audio controller"

    4. Right click on your SB X-Fi Extreme

    5. Click on "Uninstall device"

    6. Click on "Detects Hardware change" (monitor icon)

    Then check if the sound then works.
