Windows 10: Win Explorer: how to have html or txt thumbnails preview, as with img?

Hi,

I find convenient to have the first page of a text or html file in a thumbnail preview, just as with images.
How I can get this under win10?

Some config parameters or addon???

windows 10 explorer thumbnails do not display correctly in preview

Very often the thumbnail (preview image) does not show the view presented when the image is viewed in an editor eg using MS Office 2010 viewer.

I can't find a 'refresh thumbnail' option in Win Explorer

I have spent an hour or so trawling the web for solutions. These included 1) deleting all Thumbs.db files, and 2) stopping the explorer process, clearing the thumbnail database and re-starting explorer.

Explorer seems content to ignore all this and to continue displaying the thumbnails incorrectly.

 

Preview Handler in C# Winforms

Recently, I have been trying to show a preview for .html, .txt, and .jpg files in my winforms application. I have found the Registry entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PreviewHandlers. The Windows TXT Previewer
and Microsoft Windows Mail HTML Preview Handler are located here. When I try to load them into my application with the correct file format, the window shows nothing although I used the correct GUID for the Preview Handlers. My question is, how do I correctly
show the preview handlers with file content in my C# application?

Setting to show preview handlers should allow you to see them in the preview pane.

What I wish is displaying at once all html or txt files as thumbnails.

 

Only when it's open in a browser will you get a thumbnail.

In File Explorer you get thumbnails only with video & image files(and music files if you have them tagged with images).
