    win10 18.03 failed install 0x80073712


    good day all
    my child hasn't been keeping up with windows up dates and there was a hickup .
    my child has a laptop with no cd/dvd dis player, so i'm tring to use a usb key with Win10_1903_V1_English_x64.iso image installed with Rufus.
    the computer has installed all updates listed except :

    win10 18.03 failed install 0x80073712 [​IMG]

    then i get this :

    win10 18.03 failed install 0x80073712 [​IMG]

    error: 0x80073712
    witch leads me to running this command to fix :
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source*Biggrin:\Source\SxS /LimitAccess
    D:\Source\SxS = usb Win10_1903_V1_English_x64 installed on key with Rufus.
    when the above line DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source*Biggrin:\Source\SxS /LimitAccess is ran as admin i get this :

    win10 18.03 failed install 0x80073712 [​IMG]

    right now i'm downloading :
    Win10_1809Oct_v2_English_x64.iso
    but the version in the admin terminal says 17.134.165 so i'm not sure this is going to help me ?

    im not sure what to do to correct this problem, i do have the CBS.log and the dism.log i can post .

    About activation, startup menu, security, pin, etc

    I did the sfc again on the same computer and also checked the keyword "failed" "corrupted" and found these:

    Hi

    I have the same (KB3144756 fails to install error code 0x80073712 on my Win10 PC) problem and ran the recommended sfc and DISM commands. The latter completed with no problems or errors to report. sfc however, ran into some problems, and generated an error
    message, along with a cbs.log file, which I copied into a temp folder. Any suggestions?
