    Win10 1909 Enablement package showing as Not Applicable for 1903 machines


    Several of our Windows 10 clients on 1903 will not update to 1909. Several has updated using "Feature Update via Windows 10, version 1909 Enablement Package - Applies to: Windows 10, version 1903, all editions" KB4517245 - but others are reporting that it is Not Applicable. Similarly, the other Feature Update packages for 1909 are showing Not Applicable. All the computers were created from the same image so it makes no sense.


    The WSUS is up to date as are the client side components.

    Can I install 1903 win10 in 1909 version????

    In my PC, win10 1909 version doesn't work well.

    So, I wish to install 1903 version which worked well.

    My 1909 win10 is activated with a digital license.

    Can I fresh install 1903 in my 1909 PC without any activation problems?????

    Please help me...

    From where can I obtain the Win 10 1909 Enablement Package?

    Now that the 1909 ISO images are officially released on MSDN, I'm wondering if anyone knows where the enablement package can be obtained.

    More Information

    Windows 10 1909 is basically no different from 1903. In fact, going forward, 1903 and 1909 will share all the same update packages. Rather than having to install 1909 from scratch or doing an entire upgrade using the 1909 ISO images, there is apparently an "enablement package" that enables the changes in 1909 and modifies the build from 18362.x to 18363.x.

    Anyone know if this enablement package is available yet or is it only the full ISO images that have been released so far?
