Windows 10: Win10 21H2 // new W11 UI & taskbar

I have my win10 pro laptop set with regedit specify feature version update block set to 21H2 as explained on tenforums.com https://tinyurl.com/BBggFF10 . Today I received the new windows 11 taskbar which I despise through the patch tuesday updates.

So with this post I wanted to confirm to those who have not received the update that it wont matter if youre not on 24H2, you will still receive the w11 taskbar update.

I cant confirm how far this goes, for example win10 2004, will that also receive the new UI and taskbar?

I’d like to ask you guys how can i revert my taskbar to the older win10 version without the use of additional software. I know that there are several alternatives I can install and have even a W7 taskbar but really I just want my old taskbar back.

I appreciate the help and just a heads up to those of us who thought that being on an older feature version would not receive the new taskbar and UI.

Side note: My main pc has w10 ltsc and did not update the ui or taskbar this week.

How to get the win10 UI in windows 11?

When fixing my computer, the tech guys installed windows 11 onto it without my consent, but that is not too much of a problem.

The bigger problem that arose from this situation is that the Win11 UI is not only a step back from Win10, it's a stumble, fall and broken back compared to Win10.

So I'm asking how I can restore the Win10 UI on Win11, this includes things like the context menu in the file explorer not needing shift to be held down in order to open properly, an actually good start menu, removing the "Chat" from my taskbar, and other, minor things that I probably haven't noticed yet.

I'm honestly surprised at how microsoft is able to make their system progressively worse.

 

New Steam UI out today!

I feel like an old man but I hate this new UI. Its to confusing. Plus my firends list stopped working.
