Windows 10: WIN10 64bit Stop Code "Video Memory Management Internal"

Hello


I just bought Windows 10 64bit after hiding on Windows 7 64bit for all this time, thinking now most of the bugs should be fixed by now.

Yet have encountered an BSOD or Stop Code called "Video Memory Management Internal".

This only occurs when the PC is booting from a power on, doesn't occur during a reboot.

So after the first boot when it hits the error, it reboots and then runs Windows fine.

Does not appear during first install, but comes out after Windows goes crazy and updates itself to current version.

I have uninstalled my GPU drivers (Nvidia) and reinstalling them, no change. Uninstall the drivers and ran it, no change. Try to go back update versions, til I find the issue, but then opened Pandora's box of hell of BSODs after the 3rd step back.

Nuked Windows and fresh install. All ok, seems when trying to update to 1803, it goes and installs 1802 and before that the 1701? 64bit security patch, and seems that patch is the problem starter, for only starts this stop code after.

I did some more driver installs on this new fresh install, and then the BSOD stopped, so I thought I got it, but that was because Windows uninstalled and reinstalled my Nvidia driver itself apron log in to desktop.


And now have a new bug as well where I cannot install .NET Framework 3.5 for Windows Features won't download it, when in the previous Win10 I had before I nuked it was able to install it fine, needed for Powerchute driver for my APC Backup-PSU.

Video Memory Management Internal BSOD

As the matter of fact, i did do that. I even tried it just now prior to your reply, same thing went wrong, STOP CODE "VIDEO MEMORY MANAGEMENT INTERNAL".

Thanks for your advise, after a few tries I was able to reinstall Windows 10 Home from an external media, and download and enable Intel's Rapid Storage Tech SW and drivers. I also downloaded and installed the recommended drivers from HP. BTW at boot-up the
Laptop is much slower than it used to be.

Laptop works BUT when the laptop come back from the sleep mode I get the stop code error message "Video Management Memory Internal". That is how my Laptop's problem started originally.

That is sort of good news, at least the Laptop works most of the time.

Any advise how to check for / fix this problem.

I have Asus Rog g750js with NVIDIA gtx 870mAnd now I have this BSOD 'video memory management, internal' when my NVIDIA GC is running.

this started when I first updated my win10 and after that I got a BSOD "PCI watchdog violation" and some access error to many disks drive, and because of that I couldn't recover my previous windows setup.

So I bought SSD disk and did a clean Win10 setup, but now
I have this BSOD.

I reinstalled a clean win7 and win8. 1 with the drivers provided in the
Asus website and same problems and I also in every setup
I tried in safe-mode to install different drivers for my graphic card.
But always with the sames errors "PCI watchdog violation" or "video memory management internal"

I tried many things but now I don't know what the real problem Windows or my graphic card is dead, and if it's dead, why I can windowns detect it and install the drivers but not using it properly.

this nightmare started with the update of win10 3months ago.
