    Win10 Aero Peek graphic issue

Since I updated to the latest Windows 10 version (1803) I have issues with aero peek. It has some sort of graphic errors.

See the screenshots that illustrates the issue.

Games and other applications are working fine without any graphical issues.

    Drivers are up to date.

Here are 4 tests (ap_t<num>...). The first screenshot of a test shows the windows (eg: ap_t1_1.png) and the second screenshot shows what happens when hovering with the mouse either at the bottom right or over the element in the taskbar.

The white fields in the screenshots are actually icons that I have removed from the screenshots. This is not the graphical issue.

    Test 1:

Firefox Windows is not docked to any side. The windows seems to be changed in width.

    Test 2 + 3:

Firefox Window is docked to the right side. It seems to be changed in width and a grey bar is added to the right.

The grey bar width is related to the width from left screen border to the first window.

The closer the explorer window gets the the left screen border the smaller the grey bar becomes.

    Test 4:

Firefox Window is docked to the right side. Explorer window crosses the left screen border.

    No aero peek issue.

Can anyone help me to fix this Aero Peek issue?

  2. Taskbar Aero-Peek doesn't work with more than one window

    Hi Alex,

Double check if Aero Peek is enabled:

    • Click Start Menu
    • In the search box, type in performance
    • Select Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
    • Under the Visual Effects Tab, make sure the following are checked:
    • Enable Aero Peek
    • Enable desktop composition
    • Use visual styles on windows and buttons
    5. Click OK.

If that didn't work, run the Aero Troubleshooter.

    • Click Start Menu
    • Type in troubleshooting
    • Press Enter
    • Select Display Aero desktop effects
    • Click Next.
Let the troubleshooter finish the process and it will restart the Aero Peek feature.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

  3. Taskbar Aero-Peek doesn't work with more than one window

Aero peek works perfectly fine with just one window, but when multiple windows of the same application are open, the titles are displayed instead of thumbnails. I think this only started happening after I updated windows. Any ideas? Thanks.
