Windows 10: WIN10 and Office 2003 Pro

Discus and support WIN10 and Office 2003 Pro in Microsoft Office and 365 to solve the problem; I managed to install Office 2003 Pro on two WIN 10 computers. I had no real problem with the install.     WIN10 and Office 2003 Pro


    I managed to install Office 2003 Pro on two WIN 10 computers. I had no real problem with the install. I was able too get all my old Access databases and my old spreadsheets connected to the programs and working just fine. I think I had a Windows update occur and MS tried to force me into a newer version of Office. I got out of that "force mode", but I had to reinstall Office. My spreadsheets and databases work again.

    Am I going to have to endure this behavior every time MS drops an update on me? Is therer away to keep the setup as I have it not be troubled?

    Office 2003 replacement, free, not OO.

    I need a replacement for Office 2003, but preferable not OpenOffice.
    It needs to be free, internet-independant, and has to run on slow hardware. (An old PIII Celeron laptop @ 600 MHz with 192 MB of RAM, to be precise)

    Any suggestions?

    I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Windows 10. I will certainly help you.



    This issue might occur if computer is trying to update Office 2003 software.

    I would like to inform you that all the application except Windows 10
    default apps will be removed when you performed a Reset of the computer.



    To assist you better, please provided us the information below:

    • Have you checked whether Office application is present on the Control Panel program list or not?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below to check if Office program remnant is present in the Program list or not.

    1. Right click on Start Menu.

    2. Click on Programs and Features.

    3. Check if any Office related programs are present or not.



    Also I recommend you to temporarily prevent update for Office 2003 through Windows updates.

    Hi.
    Office 2003 will indeed run on W10, I have FrontPage from an Office 2003 disk installed on one of my rigs right now, and it works fine. Your problem is with the key code - something is wrong; perhaps even one character is incorrect? If you still have the XP or W7 system where it was previously running fine, and, if it hasn't been uninstalled from there yet, you could install Belarc Advisor on it, to get the list of software keys, including Office 2003 for comparison to what you think it is.

    Just for the record, OpenOffice is a open-source, free alternative to the Microsoft line of Office products. LibreOffice is an offshoot of OpenOffice, with a more aggressive feature/update schedule. LibreOffice is a very good alternative; even able to open Publisher files.
