Win10 clock wrong, Windows Time service resetting itself to manual

Task scheduler doesnt show any Time synchronisation, for last 24h anyway. Am trying to create a new task that would be to run the windows time service, but am facing difficulties. Task scheduler only allows to call programs, and I have no idea where to find a program that activates windows time service. Do you maybe know?

I replied - weather forecast in Aberdeen

Today it is cold and raining,

Day after, it is cold and raining

Day after, it will be sunny for 10 minutes, thenn cold and raining

Day after, it is cold and raining
    etc etc etc.

Now, PaulSalter, there you really said something. Thanks! I have been onto Task Scheduler, and eventually managed to create a new task to sync the time via windows time server every time a user logs on with a delay of 1 minute - with the thought that sync needs internet. It isnt an optimal solution as once I'm somewhere without internet, the clock will go to hell, and neither is it stable, at least not yet, but on 2 restarts it actually worked and my time was automatically correct on Acer Aspire for the first time ever. Havent had time to check the approach on the other computer yet, but will do

Good to hear you have got a solution

I dont often restart my machine, but the scheduled tasks runs once every 24 hours to correct the clock

Hope your time stays correct *Smile

Yeah it's surely the best solution and it works now.
It would be of course good to know what is wrong generally; I should be getting some CMOS error upon startup if the CMOS battery was dead, I assume, and Im not getting it: don't know what others reasons there might be for BIOS clock standstill. If anyone has an idea, please share: otherwise at least I have a functioning clock and that's great. Wouldn't have figured out myself!
