  1. Win10 Hardware Upgrade

I intend to upgrade my pc and I am worried that my drive will be hardlocked due to it. I intend to upgrade the motherboard, CPU, GPU, PSU, and RAM. My upgrade will be AMD to AMD rather than Intel to AMD or vice versa. I currently do not have an active version of Windows and was wondering that since this will be such a massive change in hardware, would a system image be the best course of action to prevent any loss of important data or is a drive hardlock even going to occur?

    :)

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?
    and got to point

    • UPGRADE this PC now
    • Create media(DVD, USB stick, ISO)
is hardware OK (Win 7) for an upgrade to windows 10 for this PC???

    Activation after new hardware upgrades?

Right - my point was to see what would happen if I tried the OS from one system on a totally different motherboard, and it went better than I expected, other than the activation - which I expected. I did chat with a Microsoft rep today online and he confirmed that after the hardware upgrade on a free Win10 upgrade that they (Mircosoft) will have to remote access my system to verify the proper key, etc. before they can reactivate it.
