Windows 10: Win10 install on new PC - Error code 0x80070570

I attempted to install Windows 10 Home x64 from a genuine, brand spanking new Microsoft USB stick onto a new PC with an NVMe SSD.

PC details - Gigabyte X470 AORUS Ultra Gaming Mobo, Ryzen 7 2700 cpu, Corsair Vengeance 2 x 8GB 3000MHz DD4 Memory, Samsung SSD 960 EVO 250GB. (Not a gamer - photography is my hobby)


The BIOS recognises the NVMe drive. When I begin the install, all the prompts and screens are normal and the installation begins.

The process comes to abrupt halt when getting files ready to install (at 4% mark) with a message that says

"Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure that all files required are available and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570"​

Not very enlightening.​

I have made four attempts at installation with the same result. Also I have reduced the RAM from its rated 3000 speed from to 2133 with the same outcome.​

The error code 0X80070570 usually occurs when you are using a bad ISO or if any of the hardware is not compatible with the new installation of the Operating system. We suggest changing the ISO files that you're using by following the steps on this

How do I fix error code 0x80070570? When I try and backup my files I get error code 0x80070570. My operating system is Windows 10. My backup software is Windows 7 software.
