Windows 10: WIN10 Pro 10.0.17763.503 corrupted files not starting

So somehow my windows 10 pro installation got so corrupted that it just shows a black screen after loading and no windows open (though ctrl + alt + del still shows the menu).

Anyhow I followed all the tutorials online creating bootable USB trying this and that and finally ended up in the command line trying sfc /scannow which shows there are some files it can't fix. (I don't have any system restore points or a recovery CD)

So then I tried dism doing

startComponentCleanUp (which worked)

analyzeComponentStore (worked too)

CheckHealth (says it can fix it)

ScanHealth (also says it can fix it)


BUT

When I do restoreHealth it fails with error 0x800f081f.

And when I go into the log it says some hashs werent matching and it couldnt replace them.


My suspicion now is that the problem is that the broken windows installes is Version 10.0.17763.503 and my bootable usb is 10.0.17763.475. Therefore I guess some hashes are not matching.


The big problem though is that the downloadable iso from microsoft is only version 401 and even though uupdump.ml says it distributes 503 in reality it was 475.

So anyone got any idea what I could do or how to get the correct iso?

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.

I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.
