Windows 10: Win10 reinstall

Hello everyone.

I have 2 laptops, the first one is for work and the second one is for everything else. Unfortunately, my "work" laptop crashed a month or more ago, didn't have time to get it back to life. Now I've tried and it appears I cannot do anything to it. The crash was, drumroll, blue screen without error code, after crash my laptop cannot boot win10. I tried to use "fix" option of the troubleshoot in the "crashed" menu, I don't know hot it is really called. Nothing. Tried to delete the latest update. Nothing. Restore to default settings. Again, nothing. I have already got used to the thought that I lost all my data from this laptop. Nothing critical, but still unpleasant situation. So, the question is how can I reinstall win10 on this laptop? I assume I will have to use cmd, but I don't have that much knowledge to perform such actions in cmd.

P.S. I thought it will be useful to know. I have a bootable usb with win10 install files. Again, tried to boot from this usb and install win10, it says I cannot do this.

Also, I tried to look for this info on the net, but I couldn't find anything close to my situation, so, umm, their options don't fit.

*RESOLUTION FOUND*Malwarebytes crashing on Win10 insider Bld. Rootkit related errors?

Ill try tomorrow am.
Aside from OS reinstall, your suggestion is one of the only steps I haven't taken yet.

Im gonna get some sleep and come at this with a fresh head tomorrow

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
