Windows 10: Win10 Update Failures KB4598229 KB4592449

I'm having serious problems with this update:

2021-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems KB4598229 - Error 0x800f0988

I've tried a bunch of stuff online don't remember everything. I tried disabling Bitdefender, the VPN, Downloading it manually, bunch of other things. I got to the point where it downloads 100% but still fails to install. Manual install has the same problem.
In update history I noticed: 0x800f0986 for update KB4592449 failed to install as well. Related to each other?

Other updates install fine.

I believe this problem started due to a lack of disk space initially. I cleared out 10GB of room but it still does not work. There was 0 when the initial error happened.

Although I have backups they never install properly in the past. I do not want to reset the computer. All other suggestions welcome. If it requires a reset I will just finally switch to Linux.

Ive run the trouble shooter multiple times some problems were fixed and it currently detects a problem but no solution. Here is the raw info.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

Which Windows updates in 8.1 where the gateway to installing Win10? I've ALWAYS had update as a "check but let me decide" basis however I woke up to this.



With a bunch more (even AMD 7900 drivers, like wtf)

I'm trying to avoid the Win10 shitfest but good lord what has Microsoft done.
