    win10 x64 to win10 32bit same key??

    Hello.
I have an old PC running win10 x64, but I want to "downgrade" to win10 32bit as this oldie only has 2 Gbyte ram. Will that work with the same OEM key? It is an old Compaq desktop PC.

    :)

Windows 10 x86 Running on x64 Processor - How do I reinstall Windows for x64?

    Hi,

I have a Windows 7 laptop that I recently upgraded to Win10. I have been running Windows 7 x86, thinking that I had a 32bit processor, but recently, I noticed when reinstalling ALL OF MY DRIVERS (Thanks, Microsoft.) that I actually have a 64bit processor.
Does anyone know how to upgrade Win10 x86 to Win10 x64 without any costs?

    Thanks!

If it's same PC then there is no problem you won't need a key

That will have to be a clean install, you can't 'upgrade' to change the 'bits' of the OS. Before you start, make sure you have backed up all your documents/files and have the keys for any software you may need to reinstall. As Samuria says, you can skip entering the key for Windows, a digital licence for your PC is on Microsoft's activation servers, it should activate automatically without a key.
