Windows 10: Windoes explorer

I am using windows 10 64bit.

When I use windows explorer and rename or move a file inside a folder, after execution it will jump to the top of the folder instead of staying on the file.

Also is I save a file somewhere, when I go to save another file in the same place, it doesnt remember where I last saved.

How can I remove this virus remnant?

I was also going to suggest Autoruns.

Check to make sure it isn't attaching itself to explorer. It should be the 3rd thing listed in Autoruns, the listing for the Shell. It should just be Explorer.exe. If it is anything else, that might be your problem.

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.

Windows Explorer Replacement?

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
