Windows 10: Window 10 Home x64 Version 1903 Build 18362.239 File Corruption

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if someone can explain what is going on with the following version of Windows 10...

Window 10 Home x64 Version 1903 Build 18362.239

??

After a recent System File check, using the powershell command "sfc /scannow", I noticed that Windows on my machine had corrupt files. Due to this I also noticed reduced and abnormal Windows performance and behavior.

I attempted the following in an attempt to repair the damage....

DISM repair.
New Profile Creation.
In Place Windows 10 upgrade via a USB media stick with a Windows 10 1903 ISO created using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool.

Nothing of that worked.

Since none of the above worked I was forced to re-install windows. :/

Reluctantly, I reformatted the drives and re-installed Windows only to find....

Windows Files were still corrupted....

I am now going to try again after making a new USB with the Windows 10 ISO.
Hopefully, this will correct the issue and I will be fine again... However....

Just in case that doesn't work...

Has anyone else run into an issue like this?

What fixes did you have to do before the corruption was repaired?

Windows 10 version 1903 build 18362.239 is indeed the latest.

What build version is Windows 10 Update 1903?

build 17763 is 1809

1903 should be 18362

there should not be a watermark on the desktop.

to check the version installed go to settings -> system -> about

look at windows specifications

 

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.

I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.
