Windows 10: Window 10 Lock/Login Screen Uniquely/Randomly Rejects Correct Password

Issue occurs on the login/lock screen, after booting or waking my Win 10 PC.


On the login screen, after inserting the correct password, 60% of the time I will get the following message:


"You can't sign in to your devices right now. Go to account.live.com to fix the problem, or try the last password you used on this device."


After 2-4 attempts of the same correct password, which are rejected with the "You can't sign in..." message, Windows will finally accept the correct password.


As noted, this only occurs 60% of the time when attempting to first log in. The other 40% of the time, I won't encounter the message. Lock screen shows no network connection problems.


I do not have similar problems, with same Microsoft account/user, across other Win 10 devices. I don't see any action items on account.live.com that could resolve or relate to this.

I want to disable windows 10 lock/login screen. I have followed the steps by using netplwiz but it doesn't work:

The above steps doesn't work I still see login/lock screen after restarting my system. I need to everytime enter my live password to login. I want to disable this. How ???

You can use your own image of any background and just go to settings/personalize/lock screen and click on browse as in the image below. It should make whatever picture you use as the Lock Screen
