Windows 10: Window 10 Mail and Calendar App error 0x800000b

mail and calendar in windows 10 will not recognize login to yahoo account but gives error 0x800000b, Yahoo account says it logged in but app errors and does not set up account. Tried IMAP also-same error. Could successfully setup gmail account AND a different Yahoo account. This error has to be originating from APP. Spent 60 minutes with Microsoft Support yesterday to no avail. Help!!!! Says its your app. MS reloaded app. No avail.


Windows 10 32 bit completely fresh new computer with updates I think to 1903. Pretty sure its the app spitting out garbage.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
