    Office 2010 in Windows 10

    I had Windows 8.1 installed on my laptop but after I upgraded to Win 10 I lost Office 2010. I downloaded from a USB and the file was then located in Downloads. Opening the file was OK, and I was told that files were being extracted. When this finished I
    could not fond Office anywhere. It was not in the apps list or in the program list. Office was 2010 Professional Pro 64 bit version.

    Can anyone help please?

    • Did you have Microsoft Office 2010 starter installed on your computer in the past?

    Mostly OEM computers come with MS office starter pack preinstalled, if you had MS office installed on the computer in the past I would suggest you to follow the steps under the section

    Windows 10 update for Office 2010 - I dont have Office 2010

    Hi,

    I had Office 2010 prior to upgrading Windows from 7 Pro to 10 Pro.

    I now have Office 2013, and ran Office 2010 alongside Office 2013 for while.

    I uninstalled Office 2010 before the Windows upgrade.

    Now in Windows update I have updates for Office 2010 and separate various components of Office such as Word:

    Update for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB3055042) 32-Bit Edition

    Update for Microsoft Outlook 2010 (KB3085522) 32-Bit Edition

    Security Update for Microsoft Excel 2010 (KB3085526) 32-Bit

    Update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (KB3085513) 32-Bit Edition.

    Update for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB3055047) 32-Bit Edition.

    How do I proceed with my Windows update AND NOT download and install the above updates now and going forward?
