Windows 10: Window 10 version 2004 system sounds cannot turn off.

Hey guys, currently I faced a problem that I couldn't turn of my system sounds after update my window to version 2004.


Here is what I have done:

1. Right-click on the Speakers of the taskbar.

2. Click on the Open Volume M0ixer.

3. Scroll down the volume of System Sounds.


It works for a moment. But after some time, the sound appears again. sometimes within 1 minute, sometime after 1 minute


Here is what I try to do to solve the problem:

1. Run the troubleshooting.

2. Check the driver update.

3. Scan sfc.


All show that my speakers are working well.


Can anyone help me to solve my issue?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Startup Sound

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set sounds:

• Right click on the Sound icon from the System Tray and click on Sounds.
• Browse for the sound and click on apply and Ok.

No Sound Detected after update windows 10 version 2004

Sorry, but none of those suggestions worked. And are you aware that the link you provided is broken?

This is a serious problem. Changing to version 2004 has made it so there is no sound. What are we supposed to do?
