    Yesterday my PC had an update from Microsoft I now turn my PC on it loads up to the screen where I normally log in with my password to my desktop for some reason it’s not there and it’s not letting me on cannot find options to reset factory settings I’m not sure what else I can do my alien way X 51 R3 Did not come with recovery disks any suggestions what I can do thank you very much

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
