Windows 10: Window 11 licensing on different PC than the old Windows 10 PC

I currently have a DIY system running Windows 10 Pro. The hardware is not Windows 11 eligible and truth be told it is so old that it is painfully slow and beginning to fail. I am building a new DIY system that I want to install Windows 11 Pro onto. How will I be able to get or download Windows 11 on the new system? Is it considered an upgrade even thought it's going into a new system with none of the old hardware? Or am I going to be forced to purchase a new copy as if I hadn't ever had a PC with Windows 10? TIA for any assistance.

ESD license usage: update from windows 10 to 11 and migration to different PC using 1 PC license.

My plan for now is to buy ESD key for windows 10 and use it to update to windows 11 in future, when it will be more widely used.

So i have question:

1. If I can update my windows to 11 using ESD license for windows 10 and still have it activated?
   
2. If I have another PC in the future can I activate windows on it using my old ESD license? (I suppose windows on my old PC should be deactivated?)

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
