Windows 10: Window resizing problem using dual monitors

I have an HP Spectre laptop running Windows 10. I have a second monitor, an older 23 inch model (HP w2338h) and I run the monitors in extended mode. Originally they worked together smoothly and flawlessly, but then I had to do a Windows reset (for unrelated reasons) and a problem emerged: is when I try to drag a window from the laptop to the second monitor it doesn't adjust to the right size and in fact explodes in size and looks gigantic until I can fully drag it across the edge of laptop into the second monitor and then eventually resizes. It makes it very awkward to move windows around. Any ideas how to fix this?.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Dual Monitor Problem


Overall I'm delighted with Windows 10 but I have one relatively minor problem with my dual monitors. The taskbar on the second monitor won't auto-hide. It just sits there.

Any suggestions?
