    Windows 10 -> 10 Pro


    I paid $99 for the win 10 to win 10 pro upgrade. I have the receipt.

    went back to install and it appeared it was ok

    however, there is a translucent message now saying i need to enter my activation key number.
    I dont know where that is. It was not on the receipt email that i got.

    How do I get the activation key?

    Which is good news actually, because Windows 8.1 is loads cheaper than previous versions (retail licensing at Windows 7 OEM prices). And it sort of puts a huge hole in the Windows subscription theory.
