Windows 10: Windows 10 100% SSD usage, 0kb readwrite

Discus and support Windows 10 100% SSD usage, 0kb readwrite in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Title. I've tried every single solution I could find on this forum, but absoulutely nothing works. Reinstalled Windows multiple times, still no joy....     Windows 10 100% SSD usage, 0kb readwrite


    Title. I've tried every single solution I could find on this forum, but absoulutely nothing works. Reinstalled Windows multiple times, still no joy. Tried a new SATA cable and even different SATA ports, still nothing. Is there anything I can do, or am I just stuck with this issue forever?


    WPA revealed that the cause of this issue is something under System PID 4, but I just can't find out what it is. In task manager, System shows up as the process utilizing the Disk space the most, at 0.1mb, everything else will be 0.0mb

    SMART came back fine. I know the drive is fine.

    I have a similar problem.

    Been using Windows 10 Pro for months now with no issue and have an SSD as the system drive. I had recently run the following SSD optimisation tasks and the problems seemed to start happening after that.

    • Turned off indexing
    • Turned off the drive optimisation/defragmentation
    • Ensured TRIM was enabled
    I have tried turning indexing back on but the disk usage spikes to 100% before the task can complete!

    I'm going to try a fresh install and test from there.
