Windows 10: Windows 10 1607 Version Issues with Drives

Is anyone else having issues with 1607? Mine is that I lose data within folders on a drive. When I reboot, the drive disappears. I have switched cables and Sata slots and it is still the same. I am running a WD Red NAS 6 TB drive. I have installed it into another Windows 10 PC and there does not seem to be any issues.

I downloaded 1607 ISO from Microsoft and created the bootable USB with Rufus.

I know there has been issues with 1607 and Microsoft are aware of it and have given a KB update which I have but it has made no difference.

Also, how can I download a 1511 ISO please?

Finally have a resolution to my Seagate drive issues in the latest Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3199986), now can read my drive just like the old days

Do any of the fixes actually deal with that issue?
Here's an article about it, but no real fix, just a range of rather familiar suggestions.

My issue is not the same as what you have linked to. The files come back when I manage to reboot the drive.

I am also checking my sata ports to see if that might be the issue too. I woluld be surprised because it is not two years old yet.

I just had to change data cable (new) for my disappearing DVD drive, same symptoms, it even worked in W7 in dual boot. Linux Mint could not find it either with any certainty.
