    windows 10 1803 fails every time.


    I know there is a lot of these and i have tried almost if not everything.

    i have tried the update route the media creation route using both windows tool and rufus and i have reset the server route and i have done the sfc /scannow and the dism route.


    i have a hp envy x2 detatchable pc with a bluetooth keyboard which stops me trying a clean install and it stops me from turning serure boot off because to turn secure boot off i need to enter a code in dos where the bluetooth keyboard wont work. since the last update my device wont recognise anything other than usb 3.0 devices and before windows loads it wont even recognise them so i cant do a clean install from boot and it wont even recognise a usb keyboard in the bios.


    my laptop is touch screen 8gb ram 500gb ssd hd intel chip set and bluetooth keyboard.


    im about to try again by turning wifi off as a last resort but im not hopefull as i have been trying this for over a month now with no success what so ever.windows 10 1803 fails every time. [​IMG]

    What is causing Prime 95 to keep failing all the time in the first 10 minutes?

    ...and what will be your next step if THAT fails to make Prime stable? More volts?

    I would think you would want to be using the LEAST amount of volts possible (for heat and longevity issues). That's why I suggested you use a more scientific approach to troubleshooting your instabilty. Meaning, IF your RAM passes 10 loops of MemTest with no errors at the speed you are trying to run, AND Prime continues to fail, THEN consider giving a bump to NB, FSB and Vcore (in that order).

    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
