Windows 10: Windows 10 1803 to 1903 Upgrade: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD

Hey guys,

I generally don't post on forums but I'm really out of ideas here, I feel like I've tried everything.

Everytime I want to update my current Windows 10 Home 1803 version to the newest 1903 version, it crashes to a BSOD with the error code SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, usually at around 80%. This happens both when updating from the internal Windows Update as well as trying with an external Windows Update assistant.

I don't have any third-party antivirus program currently installed, according to some forums, these can be a problem. I've also updated all my drivers and my BIOS, which are also frequently mentioned as possible sources of errors.

I'm really not an expert on these things as soon as you have to go meddling in firmware and stuff like that, so any possible suggestions please with detailed explanations *chuckle I really hope someone can help me with this because it has been super frustrating.

PS: I'm still on 1803 because for a long time, my Windows Update wasn't working at all until I figured out that a registry entry was missing and for me to figure that out and how to fix it, also took a long time...

BSOD: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

Have been receiving a BSOD and I am hoping to get it solved. The error was stated as: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. I have completed the steps in the "Driver

BSOD while gaming SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION win32kbase.sys & ntoskrnl.exe windows 10
