Windows 10: Windows 10 1903/1909 update does not install 0x8007042b this is for 1903

Yes, I have tried all the ways for this to install and it won't install, it will clean the boot, it will distribute the ren, sfc, dism software, the latest stack, everything! Recommended and will not install. This is quite annoying.

There may be some movement on this situation. There is another user trying the suggested fix, although you may not need to take all the steps the linked post suggests..

Windows Update History shows both Feature Updates 1903 and 1909 installed

After I installed the Windows 10 Feature Update from 1903 to 1909 my Windows Update History shows

Feature Update to Windows 10, version 1909 (2)

Feature Update to Windows 10, version 1903

Looking in the About page it lists Version 1909 OS Build 18363.720

In the past when I've installed a Feature Update it only shows the new update. In other words in this case it would only show 1909. Since it shows 1903 also is my computer really upgraded to 1909? Also the (2) after the 1909 is something I don't understand.

I would appreciate any help on this.

Update 1909 failed: 0x8007042B - 0x3000D

Hi everyone,

I received an error installing any new feature update. It doesn't matter if it's 1809, 1903 or 1909.

I always received the same error code after installing the update: 0x8007042B
