Windows 10: Windows 10 1903: KB4497935 e KB4503293 installation error 0x80070002

Hi everyone.

From April 2019 i installed Windows 10 1903

The problem that is driving me crazy is that as soon as I installed the operating system it do all the updates of Windows Update correctly but when i install the drivers and the programs at some point the cumulative updates fail to install with error 0x80070002. I could not understand the installation step of something that might broke it. With Windows 1809 it was perfect with updates.

I tried both the

KB4497935 and KB4503293 (released yesterday). Always error 0x80070002

The symptoms are these: the update installs it correctly in the Windows update screen then ........ when it asks me to restart the system the blue screen installation goes up to 7% and then the system restarts when normally should reach 30% at that stage.

On reboot it says that it is not possible to install updates and it rolls back. There seems to be some problem when it comes to creating the update image to install.

Can you help me please?

I don't want to reinstall Windows again.

I've already tried all the suggestions online about the error 0x80070002.

The system has an Intel Core 2 Quad QX6800 CPU, an Intel D975XBX2 motherboard and a Geforce GTX 1070 video card (it's a pretty old system but it's fine).

Can't open Windows Sandbox Error 0x80070002


Microsoft has acknowledged this issue now:

Windows Sandbox may fail to start with error code “0x80070002”Windows Sandbox may fail to start with "ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0x80070002)" on devices in which the operating system language is changed during the update process when installing Windows 10, version 1903.


Affected platforms:

• Client: Windows 10, version 1903

Next steps: We are working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in late June.

 

KB4497935 for 1903 fails with 0x80242016

Cummilative update KB4497935 for 1903 fail to reboot after the update is installed.. the rotating dots continue forever..

Recovered with external boot media and restore point. Update history shows 0x80242016 error for KB4497935 install attempt..

Windows Sandbox seems fragile on 1903 for a bunch of reasons; mine won't start with a different error code.

Feedback Hub reports for "Windows Sandbox won't start" mention about 25 different error codes experienced.
