Windows 10: Windows 10 19H1 Evaluation Copy?

Alrighty. I just spent three days trying to upgrade from Win 10 whatever version it was to Windows 10 1903 (19H1). But now, all of a sudden, for no reason whatsoever that I can detect, it now says that I am running 19H1 evaluation version... I paid for my copy of Win 10. What gives Microsoft?

Hi Mike, do you mean an evaluation copy of Windows 10?

If so, a evaluation copy of Windows is activated with a product key that will run out after a period of time. You will then need to purchase a full Product Key to permanently activate Windows . . . .

Do you think you are running an evaluation copy of Windows - this would be really unusual . . .

Windows 10 Home Insider Build 10565 Evaluation copy?

I understand your concern about the watermark saying Evaluation copy, we will help you with this issue.

I would like to inform that you cannot remove the watermark.

Do let us know the activation status of the current operating system?

Steps: Press Windows key, type settings, select
Settings, click on Update and Security and
Activation.

Also, I suggest you to run the below command to check the activation status.

Steps:

Press Windows key, type Cmd, and select
Command Prompt.

Type slmgr /xpr (Not the spacing)and hit
Enter.

Check if it shows your computer is Permanently Activated.

Windows 10 PRO Evaluation copy

Hi,

there is no "evaluation copy of win 10 PRO". The single evaluation version of Windows 10 is Enterprise evaluation. What do you mean, illegally installed non-activated copy?

You may determine what edition you have a license for you may ask a hardware manufacturer - what edition was preinstalled.
