Windows 10: Windows 10 2004 and 20H2 Update Errors

My PC is not up to date with versions 2004 and 20H2. First I tried to update, it showed me an error in which I was told to disable my antivirus and try again. I did as said from the customer help. I even uninstalled my antivirus. Yet it is showing me two different errors 0x80070057 and 0x8007001f. I am completely confused now as to what to do, as it takes a lot of time to get in touch with customer support.


Also, I don't know if this is a problem caused due to update errors, but the cut-copy-paste function is not at all working in case of files, folders and applications. Whenever I try to do that, the screen turns completely grey for 2-3 seconds and returns to the same position as it was before pasting. The same thing happens when I try to open the drop down menu by right clicking on an icon.


I would be really grateful if someone can help me out in this matter.

2004 update windows 10 error 0x80070002

Hello everyone,

thanks to some of the suggestions here and to some from other sources I have managed to fix the 0x80070002 error breaking up my feature update to 2004.

For completeness' sake and since it may help others, the following steps worked for me.

1. Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website
2. Create a bootable USB drive with the MCT
3. Boot up from this USB Drive
4. Choose install settings, click 'Next', but on the next screen select "Repair your computer" instead of "Install"
5. Choose "Troubleshoot" -> "Startup Repair" and let it finish
6. Restart into Windows and attempt the usual Windows update

It looks like the BCD on my computer had been damaged by the boot loader (Windows 10 + Recovery partition) and running the "Startup Repair" from the installation USB Drive corrected the errors.

 

Windows 10 version 20H2

I down loaded windows 10 version 20H2 and now many games I play on FB are VERY slow. The games worked ok on version 2004. Question if I down load version 2004 will it override version 20H2, or do I need to remove version 20H2 prior to downloading version
2004?

Straight to Windows 10 Update, Version 20H2

I've never downloaded the version 2004, since people said that it's bugged. And I only use my phone as the main source of data connection. Now then there's another new update, version 20H2.

My question is, does update 20H2 covered up the version 2004? Like the update 20H2 already had the 2004 In it?

If it does how much GB will I consume downloading the update?

I've heard that update 2004 size is 4GB, Is the update 20H2 file size is another 4GB? or just 1GB?

Please do tell me the total file size.. Cause I really, really have a limited internet connection.
