Windows 10: Windows 10, 20h2 update.

Hello,

I have a small question about if i should update my version 1909 to version 20h2.

Or should i wait a couple more months, till all bugs are fully fixed?


I have read that there are still certain bugs that can make it unstable.

And was just wondering if it's safe to install?

Because i use my pc a lot and don't want to run into certain problems.


Also another question about it is, does it install like an regular update or a full new install of Win10?


I am asking this, since i heard stories that it's one of both.

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:

I doubt it is a glitch. I suspect it was designed that way.

 

Update History is not showing v.20H2

This is normal behavior in Windows 10, typically when you install a Feature Update like 20h2, the update history is wiped, this is to prevent the user from trying to uninstall an update that was prior to the Feature Update, which would de-stabilize Windows
10, the list should start building again, when some updates are applied to version 20h2 . . .
