    Windows 10 - 8.1 back to 10. Need product key.


    Actually my problem is that due to some error my laptop got into Blue Screen of Death which I have not able to resolve so I went to a local repairing shop who installed me Windows 8.1 with another product key which is going to expire by May 19,2019 ; my prior purchase of that laptop provided me with Windows 7 home basic for free which I upgraded to Windows 8 which updated freely to Windows 10 pro so now I want to get back from 8.1 pro to Windows 10 pro but now neither do I have my product key nor it's box so is there any chance I will get my key back.

    Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

    Google and download the "Windows 10 media creation tool"

    Create a USB flash drive ISO and that's all you need...it will work without needing a key..
    Just skip past entering a key during full install and delete all partitions, format, create new drive and install...

    As long as you have upgraded from Windows 8 first...you need to do that prior to using your Windows 8 key for 10.
