Windows 10: Windows 10 - "Access is denied" even in Elevated Command Prompt when trying to redirect...

I tried to run this command in my Boost source tree:

".\b2 --layout=versioned -d+2 --prefix=C:/Boost --build-dir=C:/Boost/build --build-type=complete > .", but it gave me an "Access is denied" error. Even in an Elevated Command Prompt. I've been having errors when trying to build Boost version 1.69.0, and I wanted to redirect the output to a file so I could show it all to the people at the Boost users mailing list. But when I tried to do it, this happened. What can I do to fix it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What is giving you the access denied message?

When you try to open an elevated command prompt, or some command you are trying to run in an elevated command prompt?

 

Windows 10 home, denied access to elevated administrator

I have windows 10 home, and my user account is administrator. But I cannot run any elevated commands. it tells me access denied. If I right click command prompt, the only option given is pin to start.

How can I access the hidden administrative account to use elevated commands?
