  1. Windows 10 Activate Question

    Hello everyone!

A while ago I had some issues with activating windows 10 and the watermark. It was honestly 4-5 years ago and I can't quite remember exactly the details, but I decided that the Watermark wasn't a big deal and I just rolled with it. I know want to get rid of it and want to figure out the activation problem. I don't have my original key or anything so the easiest thing for me right now is to just buy a new copy and put the key in. I think the problem was about switching motherboards or something.

Is there an issue with doing that? Will that have unforeseen issues? I really don't care to try to figure it out or contact support or anything. If I buy a key and activate it is there going to be some sort of "mismatch" issue or something like that?

Thank you for any information! I hope my question makes sense.

    Windows 10 activation question

    do the upgrade
it should activate automatically when online
if you want todo a clean install after that simply boot from your windows 10 installation media and when prompted for a key during install/post install select skip ..
it will re-activate within 5M of being online

    Windows 10 Activate Question

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
