Windows 10: Windows 10 activation error 0xc004f050

I built a new PC, trying to activate my Windows 10 that I bought off the Microsoft web store in Feb.2019.


I am given "Error 0xc004f050", and seems to be no way to fix it.


Spent over an hour on the phone with 2 people on the other side of the world that I couldn't understand for the life of me. But they were very persistent to remote into my PC.....



I built a new PC, the old one was activated and going no problems. Old pc is gone now. The problem is, I can not find my product key ANYWHERE. Not in my account settings/options or Purchase history on my microsoft account, and NOTHING in ANY email. I have never received a product key from microsoft. Why do they need to remote into my PC if I have all the information (account credentials, Order number) to prove I purchased this.


I have been building pc's for decades and have never had this happen. Since when do I need a NEW key when I build a new pc?!


Frustrated and VERY annoyed.

I installed Windows 10 pro x64 build/version 1809 on my machine but have activation issue with error code: 0xC004F050.

we are domain users. when i put my PC to domain did not get license. what is problem?

Run either tool - we just need some basic info to begin with.

May be a key/edition mismatch...

 

Windows 10 Activation Error: 0xc004f050

I have performed a clean install on a new hard drive of Windows 10 Home and cannot activate. I get error 0xc004f050.

The original upgrade was from Windows 8 Pro, which I used the Windows 10 upgrade application and received an email on July 21st that my reservation was confirmed.

During the clean install, I skipped the step to enter the code.

Is this because I am installing Windows 10 Home instead of Pro? Is there a way to activate this currently installed version?
