    I have an Asus Sonic Master laptop, Core i5 7th Generation, I recently done a major hardware upgrade installed: SSD Hard drive and upgraded rams from 8 to 16, then the technician installed Windows 10 Pro which I believe it is not genuine as it could not be activated as it keeps showing the following error code 0x87E10BC6, however, the automated assistant could not recognize the error code and recommended to give a feedback in feedback hub which could done nothing till the moment!. Even after using activation errors troubleshoot It shows that I have a genuine Windows 10 Home which is true as I bought one from Windows online store and I have an activation key for it but the installed version on my laptop is Windows 10 Pro the none activated one. I tried to install Windows 10 Home form my Microsoft account using Window "Media Creation Tool" but after waiting a long time to get all the needed files and updates it kept sowing that Windows 10 Pro will be installed not Windows 10 Home!. Please guide me how to fix this issue

    Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

    Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

    1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
    2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
    3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
    4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
    5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
