Windows 10: Windows 10 activation error code 0xC004C060

In January of 2018 I had purchased a copy of Windows 10 Home from Amazon. Everything was alright and happy until my motherboard broke (around a year later) I have been unable to reactivate windows on this "new?" machine due to it considering it non-genuine. For the past couple months I have been plagued with the Activate Windows watermark. I have used it before, yes, but since my motherboard fried I have not been able to reactivate it. Even after calling Microsoft support, it has been unsuccessful. I even have the old code and card with me, if needed.


Thanks for any help, even if for some reason I can't use the one I have.

I have build my own work station few days ago.

I bought Windows 10 pro flash drive from Microsoft in Amazon.

I tried to activate Windows but I got error message and error code : 0xC004C060.

I have tried troubleshoot but It hasn't change anything.

Is there anything I can do to activate?

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001


Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
