Windows 10: Windows 10 activation on new computer.

Can I activate windows on my new pc with my digital license connected to my MS account? The license on my current pc is a windows 10 oem license, not upgraded from windows 8. It would really suck to have to spend even more money just to activate windows.

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

 

Move windows 10 from old computer to new.

Just install Windows 10 Pro on the new computer and use your Windows 7 Ultimate key to reactivate.
