Windows 10: Windows 10 Activation Problem

I have a 2 year old 2018 model HP Laptop running Windows 10 pro. I recently changed my hard drive and had to reinstall the OS. This whole process was done by a local technician, as my warranty was up for the device. During this reinstallation process he installed a windows 10 Home Single Language in my computer, instead of Windows 10 pro. Now as this device had previously Windows 10 pro from the OEM, even after installation using a windows 10 home single language license, it showed the copy of windows as of windows 10 pro. This reinstallation process took place in Jan 2020. It recently started to give an error of " Your Windows license will expire soon". In the activation panel it showed that this windows was activated using "organisation's activation service". Now after searching on YouTube about this problem, I found out that I can activate it using a command in cmd. But even after getting the original product key from there, I couldn't activate the windows, as it showed, the error code of 0xc004f050 and accompanied the message " The product Key you entered didnt work". I even tried to use a generic Windows key. Even that didnt work.

Would be helpful if someone solved this problem!

Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
However, it did, finally, activate.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
