Windows 10: Windows 10 Activation with error code 0xC004C003

I bought the new laptop lenovo with windows 10 Home on last thursday, I would like to upgrade the windows 10 from Home to Pro, then i go to microsoft store with the existing microsoft account which was created on Window 8 version over 5 years. After the purchasing and installation completed, the window require to activate again, it showed the error code [0xC004C003].


I have tried to find out the reason, the problem may be related to the old product key record in microsoft account without using the new one which installed in the new lenovo laptop. I try to using the microsoft online help to get assist, however, the support page always kick me out with below message, What CAN I DO ? PLEASE HELP.

As per the error code 0xC004C003, it seems that you have entered an invalid product key. Please reply with the following details to assist with the appropriate troubleshooting steps:

• Have you recently changed any hardware in the computer?
  
• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer currently?
  
• Have you upgraded the computer to Windows 10 earlier?

hi im getting activation error Error code: 0xC004C003 on my laptop i bought the laptop brand new from argos last year then did windows update and upgraded to windows 8.1 from 8 i have done the upgrade to windows 10 option but im unable to activate Error code: 0xC004C003 windows when i click go to store it wants me to pay £99 can anyone help

Windows 10 Activation Error code: 0xC004C003 - I received a "Free" Windows 10 activation offer from Microsoft but after installation I attempted to Activate it and received the error message listed stating the Key Code was "blocked". No other software
changes were made to my system and I see from other responses I'm not alone. I'm particularly frustrated since one of the "solutions" is "buying" a new activation code for $119. Had I known this before "upgrading", the upgrade would never have been done. Sounds
like a deceptive practice to me. Next step - contact the "BBB" or the PA Attorney Generals Office.
