    Hey guys. I had a windows 10 pro installed on my asus laptop. I upgraded from windows 7. I sold my laptop and bought a new one. When I checked it said that my version of windows is "retail" and that I can transfer my license to another device. I bought a new device, updated windws 10 to a newest version, and I can't activate windows. I get a 0xC004C003 error code. Can someone help?

    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I won't buy a key, stupid.

    I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

    When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?
