Windows 10: Windows 10 Activation

So i changed my motherboard and cpu and new windows wouldn´t activate. So i bought a new one from the internet. I had windows 10 home before and i bought windows 10 pro key. The key came in an email, so i entered it in the windows activation settings. It worked fine, a new update was made from home to pro version and everything was fine. Until today i got a message in the rght bottom corner of my screen saying: Activate Windows. So i headed into the settings and it says : Edition : Windows 10 Pro
Activation : System windows isnt activated
Id number: 00330-80124-42624-AA015
And a product key number : XXXXX.......


Then it says: We cant activate windows because code product key was used on a different device 0xC004C008

I bought the product key and it installed the pro version. Is that because the key i bought off the site was used? Does it take some time to activate?
Is there a fix to it? I dont want to buy a new one ;

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
