    I did the free upgrade to windows 10 Home when it was offered. A few years later i was having trouble with myPC,I toke it in to the IT people at work,they fixed the problem but also installed windows 10 pro. Now I need to activate my windows 10 but I can't because my digital license is for a windows 10 home edition and it's telling me to install windows 10 home using the digital license thats on my PC. so do i have to buy windows 10 home edition to install using the digital license thats on my PC?

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I won't buy a key, stupid.

    I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

    When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?

    or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
