  1. Windows 10 Activation

I digitally updated to Windows 10 Home from an installed copy of Windows 7 Home Premium when it was a free update, some years ago.
Windows 7 was installed on my current PC in February 2011 on a 1Tb Samsung SATA hard drive.
Subsequently, after upgrading digitally to Windows 10 Home, I cloned the existing hard drive on 14/07/2019 to a Crucial 1Tb SSD which became my system C: drive and have been using it ever since without any problems regarding activation. I retained the old hard drive as storage, but did not delete the old Windows 10 installation until very recently 09/10/2020. Since then a watermark has appeared,
"Activate Windows 10 – Go to settings to activate windows” that shows in the bottom right corner of my screen.
The computer has also become unstable - the display freezes and flickers and the display parameters have changed. If I attempt to activate Windows from settings, the Activation screen reports that Windows is not activated and in red below: "Something interrupted our troubleshooting. Make sure that you're connected to the internet, wait a few minutes, and try again. Error code 0x80070005." I have tried this numerous times. Troubleshooting can't activate Windows and shows error code 0x80070520 every time I try it. As this Win 10 installation is a digital upgrade, the 25-character installed product key reported by Command does not work when input under "Change Product Key" and returns the error code 0x80070005 again. I have tried to get support from Microsoft, but the virtual agent just tells me to follow the instructions on the Activation screen in settings, which don't work. I spoke to an actual support technician, who went through the same instructions and even asked me to input the original Windows 7 product key.Nothing worked so he transferred me to another line and I got an automatic reply telling me that noone was available to help me. Can anyone here help?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

Click to expand... Yeah I went to that site, why do I need to buy a key?
    I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?

DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10 NOW - Upgrade and ISO direct from microsoft

this search might help you https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sou...o+to+get+it+activated+windows+10+blocked+keys

    From http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/why-activate-windows-10

If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free and ended up in a non-activated state, try following these steps:

    • Go to Start
      Windows 10 Activation [IMG]
, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.
    • Select Go to Store, and check to see if a valid license is available for your device. If a license isn't available, you'll need to buy Windows from the Store.

      Note
      • This only applies if you haven't made changes to the hardware for your device.

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
